Dimid was born in 1953 in Minnesota and lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was the donor for both of Roberta and Nancy’s children.

The interviews were conducted by Nancy Lee Marquis beginning in 2023 and are ongoing. The exhibit also includes several related photographs and letters.
