Brian was born in Embudo, New Mexico, in 1985 to Nancy Marquis and Roberta Moore. He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and has two children.

This exhibit features oral history interviews with lesbian mothers and their children from Texas, Kentucky, and New Mexico. The interviews were conducted by Nancy Lee Marquis beginning in 2023 and are ongoing. The exhibit also includes several related photographs and letters.
