Sodomy Law: Connecticut, May, 1650
death for "men lying with men"
Connecticut Colony legislators adopted Robert Ludlow's codification of existing law, known as "Ludlow's Code." This code included the Connecticut law of 1642, which provided death for sodomy (here called "men lying with men").(1) Ludlow's Code was next revised in October 1672.
