Edith Ellis in Chicago

In Chicago, Edith Ellis, the lesbian wife of the British sexologist Havelock Ellis, presents a public lecture at Orchestra Hall consisting of two essays, “Masculinism and Feminism” and “Sexuality and Eugenics.” Her lecture is among the earliest public defenses of homosexuality.
