First International Drag King Extravaganza

The First International Drag King Extravaganza (IDKE) opened in Columbus, Ohio. A first-of-its-kind event, it was a collaborative, non-competitive gathering of drag kings, their fans, and the people who studied, photographed and filmed them. The extravaganza was held annually from 1999-2012 and was one of the largest annual gatherings of drag kings in the United States.
