The Back Door Lounge Betrayel

In the very early 80’s there was a guy named Marty who was a cocktail waiter for the Garage . Marty was also a bartender at the Back Door Lounge on E. Charleston but was recently fired for reasons unknown and immediately replaced. Me and my girlfriend were at the Garage and were so drunk that we couldn’t drive so Marty offered for us to crash at his pad which was directly behind the club. We agreed and we all went to Marty’s about 4:00 am. . I don’t know exactly what time it was but Toni our lesbian friend woke up me and asked if she could borrow my car to go to the store with Marty. I said yes and went back to sleep. In the morning probably about 9:00 am they wake us up and tell us the bartender at the Backdoor lounge got robbed and killed . Me and my girlfriend couldn’t believe it. I was so drunk that when they woke me up I remembered now that i was awake that them having black makeup all over their faces. But is was washed off when they woke us up, but they did a sloppy job around the ears cleaning up. Without saying a word I made an excuse that I had to meet my Family and We had errands to run. We left. As soon as I got in my car and started it I got out of there so fast and went home. I was confused . I pulled my car in the garage and everything seemed to be in order.. The news flashes for The police looking for two armed suspects with the descriptions . We knew immediately. I called the police and told them I could solve their crime and I have the vehicle that was used in the crime. End of story.
Does anyone but me remember this? It is mentioned nowhere. That bartenders whose life was taken out of pure jealously and maybe $100 deserves recognition.
